FAMILY INFORMATION

All of our programming is held on Wednesday evenings from October thru May, and your family is invited to join on Wednesday nights. Mass is held at 5:30PM, Parish Dinner and Reconciliation is also available beginning at 6:00PM. Bringing us all together offers us a great opportunity to meet one another, share a meal, and all be part of this awesome faith community. The Parent Track of Family Faith Formation meets in the Social Hall beginning at 6:30PM. You will learn more about what your children are learning in their faith formation small groups so that you can know what they are learning and continue the conversation at home. All programming is held at St. Joseph Parish.

“Go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.  And remember I am with you until the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.

This is our mission, given to us by Jesus Christ. We are so glad that you have chosen to be here with us. Thank you for enrolling your children in Faith Formation.  We seek to work with you to teach them to live our faith.  We are not simply here to exist as one more after-school activity, nor are we a substitute for catechesis in the home.  The building of your children’s faith begins in the home with you as their teacher. This Faith Formation program aims to help parents in our shared goal to be disciples of Jesus, following so closely behind him that we are covered in the dust from his feet.

We teach authentic Catholic Church doctrine according to Diocese of Duluth standards using the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and approved religious education texts.  We use these materials to support our youth and families living as Catholics in today’s society and to demonstrate what it means to follow the Ten Commandments and the Precepts of the Catholic Church.

Parish Dinners

We will be providing weekly parish dinners. This important ministry provides a hot meal and fellowship for our parish community as a whole, not just our Faith Formation group.  All are invited to attend.  The parish dinner begins after 5:30PM Wednesday daily Mass.  There is no charge for the parish dinner; however we graciously accept free will offerings.

Please note:  Occasionally we will send out a dessert request through Flocknote.

Parish Dinners

We are looking for Prayer Warriors to come and pray for our youth and their families on Wednesday evenings. If you have questions or can help with this ministry, please contact lisa.neary@duluthcatholic.org.
