THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS IS THE LARGEST CATHOLIC FRATERNAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION, STANDING FOR THE FOUR PRINCIPLES OF CHARITY, UNITY, FRATERNITY, AND PATRIOTISM. OUR COUNCIL IN GRAND RAPIDS, MN WAS FORMED ON SEPTEMBER 28, 1941.​

Charity: is the first principle of the Knights of Columbus. Knights are men who get things done.
Unity and Fraternity: are the second and third principles of the Knights of Columbus. The Knights of Columbus was founded so men could work together to serve their parishes and communities; protect the well- being of their Catholic families. Support programs that benefit people with intellectual disabilities.

Patriotism: The fourth principle of the Knights of Columbus is patriotism, encourages active Catholic citizenship and a spirit of patriotism. Also, embodies the fact that one can be a faithful Catholic and also be a faithful citizen.
K of C’s aid victims of natural disasters, other catastrophic events, local and worldwide. They save lives through initiatives such as the “Ultrasound Program” and Roses for Life supporting an end to abortion.
